About Change this
Foster + Partners is an architectural firm that was founded in London in 1967. The practice is led by its founder and Chairman, Norman Foster, and has constructed many high-profile glass-and-steel buildings.
The architecture firm, Foster Associates, was established by Norman Foster shortly after leaving Team 4. Team 4 was an architectural studio comprised of Foster and three friends who he met while studying at Yale University - Richard Rogers, Su Brumwell and Wendy Cheeseman.
During the 1990s the firm was renamed to Foster + Partners to more accurately reflect the influence of the other lead architects working at the practice.
